Participants

Created by ACT for the Disappeared in 2014, Fushat 'Amal is designed as a space that brings  together relatives of the missing, and the younger generation and any citizen willing to engage in this collective effort.

As such, Fushat ‘Amal is more than a digital repository of information about the missing in Lebanon, as it is meant as an interactive platform that provides any interested person with the opportunity to participate.

Furthermore, ACT has been training young volunteers since 2014 to conduct interviews with relatives of the missing and collect information for creating a space for their loved ones on Fushat 'Amal.

In addition to the ongoing efforts in developing the online database, Fushat 'Amal is also a platform for civil society organizations to support and amplify the voices of relatives in demanding a national recognition of the issue and the right to know of the families.
